Hi, I’m Ethan.
I am a HCPC registered Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from Robert Gordon University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sensory Integration from Sheffield Hallam University. I have 8 years experience supporting children and young people within specialist educational settings, including Autism, learning disabilities, developmental delay, sensory processing differences, communication needs. I work with client groups including paediatrics and adults.
I have experience in occupational therapy assessment, intervention planning and delivery, and multidisciplinary working. I have managed substantial caseloads and delivered individualised interventions and therapy plans, while supporting the development of needs-led and tiered models of universal, targeted and specialist provision. I have extensive experience supporting with recommendations for EHCPs.
My experience also includes occupational therapy service development, provision audits, outcome measurement, pathway development and delivering whole-school training. I am trained in the CO-OP approach and have completed additional training in order to utilise the EASI. I am commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-informed practice. I am also a Schools Community of Practice Lead with ASI-Wise.
